We work with clients several times before the wedding day. Initially, we meet to select the wedding collection and solidify plans for the event. Then, in most cases, an engagement photo (included in most of our wedding collections) is taken, and additional information is gathered about your needs and wishes. Finally, a formal consultation is planned where the details of the wedding are discussed, a list of important photos are recorded, and special requests are made. It is our goal to discuss these details with each couple prior to the wedding so that you can focus your attention on enjoying your day and let us focus on the details.

We offer a variety of photographic styles including both formal and journalistic formats. There are photos, like those of family groups and the full wedding party, that are more successfully captured in a formal, posed fashion. Journalistic style is the creative, spontaneous method of capturing those special, candid moments of your day. It is our philosophy that a blend of these two styles results in the certainty that everyone important to you is represented in a photo while including the memorable moments you will cherish.

There is no limit to the amount of photos. Sharpe photographers will take as many as needed to cover the assignment. A consultation prior to your wedding day assures that we share the same expectations regarding your wedding day.

You have several wedding collections to choose from at Sharpe Photographers. Because no two weddings are alike, there is a package to meet every need. Our wedding collections range from all-day services and endless photos to a simple collection of a few hours and relative print quantities.

The Sharpe Photographers wedding collection you select determines the number of photographers who will photograph your day. In some cases, larger weddings and higher wedding collection levels warrant a team of photographers, while one photographer with an assistant is appropriate for others. We will work with you to determine the ideal solution for your needs.

Nikon and Canon digital cameras are used by Sharpe Photographers. These are among the highest quality cameras available and produce the most reliable and excellent results. Each Sharpe Photographer brings backup equipment of the same high quality to each wedding to ensure a smooth, hassle-free experience.

Sharpe Photographers offers the option of both studio and location photography. Our studio is located at 309 Washington Boulevard in historic Roseville, California, where we offer several backdrops ranging from formal to informal styles. In addition, our photographers work on location at your request, and at your wedding, of course! Sharpe Photographers works with you to select the most suitable environment for your engagement or family portraits.
