After shooting so many weddings, I can say that today, weddings are all about how 'beautiful' it will look... they are all focused on how many details can be filtered throughout the day...or how many elements can be woven into the day. And as a photographer, I have to admit, I do love those things very much, but at the end of the day, what is remembered is really all about the feelings and the emotions.
So, when I walked into Saturday's wedding, and what met my camera was a multitude of tears, big hugs, even bigger smiles - it was so refreshing and real. The emotion and the closeness between the between the bride + groom and their family and friends was great to be a part of.
So thank you for letting us be a part for your day. I hope the images spark the same feeling you had when we took them.

Weddings posts are so overdue on our blog! and not because we haven't been shooting them. But wow, we've been shooting so many, and so many great ones its been hard keeping up with them on our website. So what to do when you have so many fabulous couples to post? Start from the beginning.
Great job!!!, I just want to make a shout-out to Harry, Jon, and Kacey - thank you so much for being the kick in the pants awesome shooters that you are! I can always count on you, plus you make working a blast.
And last but definitely not least, thank you Kevin and Parmis for trusting us with your memories. For being such beautiful people inside and out, and for making it not feel like work at all for me on your special day. You two only deserve the very best that life has to offer, and I hope you get nothing less.

Meet Parmis + Kevin.
Thank you for your beautiful faces that gorgeous afternoon, across a random patch of Folsom in the hood you hangout in :) Too be wed on June 11, 2011.
For now, I wanted to share this session with all of you. It made me happy while looking at all the smiles dotted throughout all these images. This is what happens when you combine great people, sweet love, a fast car, blue skies, and the most gorgeous light :)

Ena and Rajat, keep shining your beautiful, funny, and generous hearts to those around you :) I know, that while you are both moving mountains, fighting dragons in life together, you will be doing it with Alison laughing in the joyous way she knows how, and Rajat holding her hand the same way citadels hold and protect, both having unabashed amounts of fun all at the same time. I know because you two are best friends become lovers, who know how to laugh with one another and remember to never take things too seriously. Congratulations!! xx
